Senior Manager
What this job involves:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for handling mid to big size team, resources split across multiple regions/Work Type/locations.
Ensure service delivery based on agreed SLAs and Quality Standards
Engage with local finance team to ensure business updates/changes are timely and accurately reflected.
Standardization of process activities as per business requirements
Complete business ownership and ensure regular improvements in business performance / KPI / Metrics.
Work closely with business heads / Leads to ensure service delivery as per organization goals and objectives.
Allocate, delegate, and supervise work - delegate and supervise certain tasks to team members to improve workplace functions and efficiencies as per defined role.
Promote effective teamwork for achieving organizational goals / service delivery targets
Understands sense of urgency, upholds swift response times as required by the business(es)/function(s) being supported.
Review, monitor and implement improvements to order-to-cash processes and systems.
Influence changes to systems, support team members with problem solving and guidance on difficult issues, and processes - open to new ideas coming from team members.
People Management. Prepare and document Monthly One on Ones, Goal Setting, Quarterly Conversations, Rating Discussions and Remuneration Planning for team members. Leave and Attrition Management
Effective management of internal & external stakeholders while nurturing a good relationship and ability to get things done with positive influence.
Process Standardization, Documentation and Value Stream Mapping. Deliver Organic growth through Lean and Continuous improvement.
Data Management, KPI Reporting, Prepare and provide accurate and timely team/process data/decs as required by Fin Ops management/Stake Holders
Work with other Managers and Team Leaders in the project to create a culture of collaboration
Coach and mentor team members to ensure all-round development of individuals

Requirements:
Must be Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate or MBA in Finance
End to end knowledge of Accounts Receivables (Customer Data, Credit Setup, Invoicing, Cash Apps, Collections) with special attention to meet business KPIs such as DSO and Overdue
Must have Minimum of 8-10 Years of Experience working in Shared Services/Captive Units/MNCs, at least 2-5 Years should be on People Role for a team of 15+ headcount.
Must work with stakeholders connected to the upstream and downstreams of OTC cycle to meet business KPIs
Sound Accounting and Domain Knowledge
Should be comfortable working as an Individual contributor as well as Team Handling
Good/Strong communication skills, ability to work methodically & efficiently and deliver under tight deadlines
Intermediate / Advanced PC skills, proficient in Office tools, such as Microsoft Outlook Word & Excel. Including advance Excel functionalities
Should be comfortable working in US Shift (5:30 pm – 2:30 am)
Working experience on PeopleSoft, Sage, Service Now, Zendesk will be added advantage.
Knowledge of Lean Awareness, Continuous Improvement and RPA
