Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct daily sales calls to corporate offices, travel agents, tour operators, and local businesses in assigned cities.
· Plan and execute regular city visits and sales calls as per monthly calling plan.
· Generate new leads and develop potential accounts for room, long-stay, and group business.
· Follow up on inquiries, proposals, and negotiated rate agreements.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate and travel trade accounts.
· Handle rate negotiations, contracts, and renewals under guidance of Sales Manager.
· Ensure regular follow-ups to maximize production from assigned accounts.
· Coordinate with Reservations and Revenue teams for rate loading, availability, and confirmations.
· Support group, conference, and event inquiries from city accounts.
· Ensure smooth handover of confirmed business to operations teams.
· Track competitor activity, market rates, and business trends in assigned cities.
· Maintain daily sales call reports, lead trackers, and productivity reports.
· Achieve assigned sales targets in terms of room nights, revenue, and new accounts.
· 4-7 years of experience in resort sales, corporate sales, or travel trade sales.
· Experience in city calling and field sales preferred.
· Exposure to selling for resorts and business hotels is an advantage.
· Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
· Comfortable with frequent calling, follow-ups, and travel.
· Target-driven with a proactive sales mindset.
· Basic knowledge of hotel sales processes and rate structures.
· Graduate in any discipline (Hotel Management / Business preferred).
