Job Responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of network systems at project sites.
- Integration of switches, routers, access points, servers, CCTV, access-control systems, and other network devices.
- Configure LAN/WAN, IP addresses, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware, cabling, and communication issues.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, IT teams, and project engineers during installation and commissioning.
- Perform network testing and ensure proper communication between integrated systems.
- Prepare network diagrams, configuration records, testing reports, and site documentation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and provide technical support after installation.
- Diagnose faults using tools such as LAN testers, cable testers, ping, traceroute, and network monitoring software.
- Ensure proper cable dressing, labeling, termination, and rack installation.
- Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and company standards.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across PAN India
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of networking fundamentals and TCP/IP.
- Working knowledge of managed/unmanaged switches and routers.
- Knowledge of fiber optic and UTP networking.
- Basic knowledge of Cisco/HPE/D-Link/TP-Link or similar networking equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read network layouts and technical drawings.
- PAN India travelling is required.
Preferred Certification: CCNA / Network+ or equivalent networking certification.
