Truck Operations Manager
Location: Chennai
Experience: 3–8 years in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily truck fleet operations and dispatch activities.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
- Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, and driver performance.
- Coordinate with drivers, customers, and warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Handle route planning and optimize operational efficiency.
- Prepare operational reports and track key performance metrics.
- Resolve transportation issues and customer complaints promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or a related field.
- Experience managing truck fleets and drivers.
- Strong knowledge of transport regulations and fleet management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and transportation management software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- GPS tracking and route optimization experience.
- Cost control and budget management.
- Team leadership and driver management.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices.
