Job Summary
Kaigo Home Health Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at our laboratory in Kazhakuttam. The role involves assisting with basic laboratory sample collection, performing home healthcare nursing procedures, and accompanying doctors during home visits when required. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient care, and good communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood sample collection (venipuncture) at the laboratory and during home visits.
- Assist in basic sample handling and ensure proper labeling and transportation.
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Perform nursing procedures including:
- IV Cannulation
- Catheter Insertion and Care
- Ryles Tube Insertion and Feeding Assistance
- Wound Dressing and Post-operative Dressing
- Insulin Administration
- Medication Administration as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report abnormalities.
- Accompany doctors during home visits and assist in patient assessments and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and visit documentation.
- Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed treatment plans and home care practices.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of nursing equipment and supplies.
Eligibility Criteria
- ANM / GNM / B.Sc Nursing qualification.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of home healthcare procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel for home visits.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving license will be an added advantage.
