Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
- Source and procure electrical, automation, instrumentation, control panel, and industrial components as per organizational requirements.
- Generate and process Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
- Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Vendor Management
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations based on quality, cost, and delivery metrics.
- Develop alternative suppliers to reduce procurement risks and improve competitiveness.
Cost Control & Negotiation
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, material pricing, and supply chain risks.
- Achieve annual procurement savings targets while maintaining quality standards.
Inventory & Coordination
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Planning, and Project teams to forecast material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
- Prevent material shortages and minimize excess inventory.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, supplier agreements, and purchase documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Support internal and external audits related to procurement activities.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance reports, and cost-saving analyses.
- Track purchase order status and ensure timely closure of procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in procurement/purchasing within manufacturing, automation, electrical, instrumentation, or export, industrial engineering sectors.
- Experience in sourcing electrical panels, PLCs, drives, switchgear, cables, instrumentation, and industrial automation components is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and cost-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

- On-time material availability.
- Purchase cost savings achieved.
- Vendor performance and development.
- Procurement cycle time reduction.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
