The Retail Store Manager will be responsible for all store consultants' coordination and delegation of duties according to their expertise
Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising:
- Design and refresh visual displays weekly to maintain an inspiring and engaging in-store atmosphere. Ensure the brand’s aesthetic is reflected across all touchpoints, maintaining alignment with Style Junkie's seasonal themes.
- To coordinate with the designer + external consultant
- Ensures fragrance, music is matched to the aesthetic of the brand.
Sales & Target Achievement:
- Achieve monthly sales targets individually through proactive client engagement, personalized styling recommendations, and follow-ups with loyal customers. Drive sales initiatives that enhance footfall and conversion rates.
Customer Experience:
- Deliver a luxury retail experience through attentive service, in-depth product knowledge, and a warm, personalized approach. Manage store communication channels, including phone and digital inquiries, ensuring timely responses.
- Handle customer requests + complaints and ensure the client is communicated on status & delivery
Inventory & Operations:
- Oversee stock levels, replenishments, and inventory tracking through Retailcore systems. Coordinate with backend teams to ensure smooth supply flow and maintain accurate stock records. Administer billing operations through Tally or integrated billing software with precision and compliance.
- Timely Execution of orders from sales to dispatch
Team Management & Training:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate store staff to uphold brand values and deliver consistent service excellence. Conduct regular training on sales techniques, customer handling, and visual merchandising standards.
- Ensure all staff have product & fabric knowledge to communicate with the clients
- Overlook Roster
Strategy & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to plan promotional campaigns, End of Season Sales (EOSS), and special events. Provide feedback and insights on customer preferences, sales patterns, and product performance to inform future strategies.
- To keep updated on all trends in fashion
Third Party Vendors
- To maintain all records/communication
- To prepare the sales data at the end of the month
- To check inventory & update
- To execute orders & requests of the 3 Party
- Manage Stock Levels
- Regular store inventory checks, audits, and cash handling
Exhibitions & Events
- Assist in Exhibitions & events for the brand to travel if needed
Store Maintenance & Presentation:
Ensure the store environment is pristine, organized, and visually aligned with brand standards. Supervise daily upkeep of all areas—sales floor, changing rooms, and packaging zones—to maintain an elevated customer experience.
