La Patisserie Affaire is a premium French-inspired bakery and café known for handcrafted cakes, pastries, desserts, and specialty coffee. We are looking for a passionate and creative Cake Chef to join our growing team and help create exceptional products that delight our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and decorate premium cakes, pastries, and desserts.
- Design and execute customized birthday, anniversary, wedding, and theme cakes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality standards.
- Develop new cake flavors, fillings, and seasonal specialties.
- Manage daily production schedules and inventory requirements.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and freshness of ingredients.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
- Minimize wastage and maintain cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with management on new product launches and menu innovations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cake Chef, Pastry Chef, or Baker.
- Strong knowledge of sponge cakes, mousse cakes, fondant work, cream finishing, and cake decoration.
- Experience with customized and celebration cakes.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Diploma or certification in Bakery & Pastry Arts is preferred.
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience and skill level)
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
