Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Head to manage end-to-end procurement activities for road construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, and timely procurement of construction materials and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle procurement of road construction materials (bitumen, aggregates, cement, steel, sand, diesel, machinery spares, etc.)
- Vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization
- Issue and track Purchase Orders as per project schedules
- Coordinate with project, stores, and accounts teams
- Ensure cost control, budget adherence, and timely material availability
- Maintain compliance with GST, e-way bills, and procurement norms
- Monitor inventory levels and reduce wastage
- Prepare procurement MIS and cost reports
Skills Required:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of road/highway construction materials
- Cost control and procurement planning
- ERP/MS Excel proficiency
- Good communication and leadership skills
Preferred Experience:
- Road works / highway / infrastructure projects
- EPC or contractor environment

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
