Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Engineer with a strong background in Electrical Panels, Control Panels, and Industrial Electrical Products.
The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, handling customer requirements, providing technical solutions, preparing quotations, and converting enquiries into orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers, industrial clients, OEMs, contractors, consultants, and panel builders.
- Generate leads and new business opportunities for Electrical Panels and Control Panels.
- Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable panel solutions.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, and product presentations.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Coordinate with the design, production, purchase, and service teams for customer requirements.
- Understand basic electrical drawings, SLDs, BOMs, panel specifications, and electrical components.
- Promote control panels, electrical panels, automation-related products, and customized panel solutions.
- Achieve monthly sales and business development targets.
- Maintain regular follow-up and update sales pipeline/CRM records.
- Handle customer queries and coordinate for pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Travel for customer visits, site meetings, and business development activities whenever required.
Required Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Panels and Control Panels.
- Understanding of MCB, MCCB, ACB, contactors, relays, VFDs, PLCs, SMPS, timers, sensors, and other electrical components.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / EEE / ECE / Instrumentation.
