- Encourage creativity through storytelling, art, music, and hands-on activities.
- Identify slow learners and provide additional support.
- Assess students regularly through worksheets, oral assessments, and classroom activities.
- Maintain students' academic records and progress reports.
Classroom Management
- Create a positive, safe, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Establish classroom rules and routines.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
- Monitor students during classroom activities, breaks, and transitions.
- Encourage teamwork, sharing, and respectful behavior among students.
Student Care and Development
- Provide emotional support and build students' confidence.
- Understand the individual needs of each child.
- Promote good manners, hygiene, and healthy habits.
- Encourage independence and responsibility.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of every child throughout the school day.
- Foster social and emotional development through group activities.
Communication with Parents
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Inform parents about academic performance, attendance, and behavior.
- Address parents' concerns professionally and promptly.
- Encourage parental involvement in children's learning.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain attendance registers and classroom records.
- Complete report cards and assessment documentation on time.
- Prepare teaching aids and classroom displays.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Co-Curricular Responsibilities
- Organize classroom celebrations and educational activities.
- Prepare students for school events, competitions, and assemblies.
- Encourage participation in art, music, dance, sports, and cultural activities.
- Support field trips and educational excursions when required.
Professional Responsibilities
- Be punctual and maintain regular attendance.
- Dress professionally and serve as a positive role model.
- Continuously improve teaching skills through professional development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and school management.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student and school information.
Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure students are safely handed over to authorized parents or guardians.
- Monitor students during dispersal, lunch, and playground activities.
- Be aware of first aid procedures and emergency protocols.
- Immediately report any safety concerns or incidents to the school administration.
