We are seeking a highly experienced and leadership-driven Senior Project Manager (Civil Construction) to oversee and execute our large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for the structural integrity, financial health, scheduling, and safe execution of major civil projects. The ideal candidate brings a blend of stellar technical engineering expertise, rigorous project management skills, and a proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Lifecycle Management: Lead the planning, execution, and closure of complex civil construction projects (commercial, residential, or infrastructure), ensuring delivery within budget, scope, and timeline.
- Financial & Budgetary Control: Manage project costing, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and value engineering. Review billing, approve subcontractor payments, and mitigate financial risks.
- Timeline & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project schedules, milestone trackers, and resource allocation plans. Monitor progress aggressively to prevent delays.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, structural consultants, and government authorities. Source, negotiate with, and manage subcontractors and vendors.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all site execution strictly adheres to structural designs, quality standards, local building codes, and health & safety (HSE) regulations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead an on-site team of project engineers, site supervisors, and quantity surveyors, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of core experience in civil construction, with at least 1-2 years serving as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager overseeing high-rise buildings, commercial hubs, or heavy infrastructure.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, and standard MS Office tools. Deep understanding of structural engineering, concrete technology, and finishing works.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, contractual negotiation, conflict resolution, and high-stakes decision-making abilities.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
