Job Overview
We are looking for a Machine Operator / VMC Operator to support machining and production activities. The candidate will be responsible for operating machines, maintaining product quality, and following production and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC/VMC machines and monitor production processes
- Ensure smooth machine functioning and uninterrupted production
- Perform first-piece inspection before batch production
- Check components for quality issues such as dents, damage, rust, or defects
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers and gauges
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Segregate defective and approved components as per process requirements
- Maintain production and inspection records
- Report machine or quality issues to supervisors
Eligibility Criteria
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical or related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in machining or production preferred
- Basic knowledge of CNC/VMC machine operation
- Ability to read engineering drawings and control plans
- Attention to detail and quality awareness
