Our Electrical Connections Engineering team has the need for a senior project manager to lead multi-functional teams delivering NPI projects.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Develops guidelines showing expertise within project teams.
- Lead multiple projects focusing on driving timely delivery and addressing blocking issues as needed. Builds out complex project schedules with ease.
- Demonstrating communication skills running multiple projects - impacting collaborators across the business. Can handle team conflicts.
- Taking action while there is still ambiguity, making decisions in a timely manner and driving for results. Prioritize and plan team resources to meet project commitments
- Has solid abilities for influencing multi-functional teams. Breaks down silos. Brings all teams together effectively.
- Understand metrics for financial discussions at a project level (NPV, IRR, CER, etc)
YOU HAVE:
Required
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical
- Total 10 + years of experience and out of 8 years of experience in project management
- Deep knowledge of hybrid project management methodologies, including agile and waterfall principles
- Proficiency in Jira® project management software and tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Influences system architecture, defines technical strategies
- Strong technical curiosity, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
- Frequently recommends changes to meet customer needs
- Analyze technical documents and regulations
- Works on diverse and ambiguous problems, requiring deeper analysis
Preferred
- Experience in leading new product development projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is preferred.
