Job Title: Civil Engineer & Project Management Executive

Job Summary
The Civil Engineer & Project Management Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering civil engineering projects related to hospital infrastructure, renovations, expansions, and new construction. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with healthcare regulations, NABH standards, safety norms, and quality requirements while minimizing disruption to hospital operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and execute hospital construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure minimal disruption to patient care during construction activities.
Civil Engineering
- Supervise all civil construction activities including structural works, masonry, flooring, waterproofing, painting, and finishing works.
- Review engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
- Verify contractor bills and work completion reports.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of hospital infrastructure.
Healthcare Compliance
- Ensure projects comply with NABH, Fire Safety, Local Municipal, Pollution Control Board, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain documentation required for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Implement infection control measures during renovation works in patient care areas.
Project Management
- Track project milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
- Monitor project costs and prevent budget overruns.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Manage change requests and project documentation.
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Float enquiries, evaluate quotations, and recommend vendors.
- Supervise contractor performance and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Conduct quality inspections before certifying completed work.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and safety standards.
Quality & Safety
- Ensure construction quality as per approved specifications.
- Monitor workplace safety and ensure PPE compliance.
- Conduct regular quality audits and rectify deviations.
- Maintain a zero-accident work environment.
Coordination
- Liaise with Biomedical, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Infection Control, and Facility Management teams.
- Support commissioning of new hospital areas and medical equipment installations.
- Coordinate with hospital departments during expansion and renovation projects.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil).
- Certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and Microsoft Office.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in civil construction and project management.
- Experience in hospitals, healthcare facilities, or commercial infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Experience managing hospital renovation projects while facilities remain operational is an advantage.

This role is ideal for a Civil Engineer with strong project management expertise who can successfully deliver healthcare infrastructure projects while ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
Pay: ₹10,740.32 - ₹100,000.00 per month
