Key Responsibilities :
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and weld symbols.
- Mark, cut, grind, and prepare raw materials as per dimensions.
- Fit-up and assemble fabricated parts before welding.
- Verify dimensions using measuring instruments.
Welding Activities
- Perform MIG, MAG, TIG, and Arc Welding as required.
- Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and structural steel components.
- Ensure proper weld penetration and weld quality.
- Carry out weld repairs when required.
Quality Control
- Follow approved WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
- Conduct visual inspection of welds.
- Ensure fabricated items meet drawing and quality requirements.
- Support NDT activities when required.
Equipment Maintenance
- Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and fabrication tools safely.
- Perform basic maintenance of equipment.
- Report machine breakdowns and defects.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all safety procedures and use PPE.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Adhere to company quality and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to read fabrication and welding drawings.
- Knowledge of welding symbols and fabrication tolerances.
- Experience in heavy structural fabrication.
- Good measuring and fitting skills.
- Knowledge of material handling and rigging practices.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Qualification
- ITI Welder / Fabricator or equivalent technical qualification.
- Certification in welding is preferred.
Experience
- Welder: 3–5 years in heavy fabrication industry.
- Fabricator/Fitter: 5–8 years in structural steel, machine frames, skids, tanks, or heavy equipment fabrication.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹35,685.35 per month
