About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Middle Level Civil Engineer with strong experience in high-rise building construction, civil site execution, RCC works, concrete technology, structural materials, and quality control.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising and monitoring civil construction activities for high-rise building projects, ensuring that all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, applicable IS Codes, method statements, and project quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction and site execution activities for high-rise building projects.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
- Monitor RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Manage and monitor civil works related to high-rise structures, slabs, columns, beams, shear walls, core walls, and other structural elements.
- Inspect construction materials including cement, aggregates, concrete, reinforcement steel, and structural steel.
- Monitor concrete sampling, testing, cube testing, and test results as per applicable standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for material inspection, testing, and quality control activities.
- Ensure proper workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
- Identify construction defects and coordinate with site teams for corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and project teams for smooth execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor quality, progress, and workmanship of civil works.
- Maintain necessary inspection reports, test reports, checklists, and quality records.
- Read and interpret civil/structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Support the project team in resolving technical and site-related civil engineering issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian Standard (IS) Codes and project quality requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 7 years of experience for B.E./B.Tech candidates OR 10 years for Diploma candidates.
- Mandatory experience in High-Rise Building Construction projects.
- Strong experience in civil construction and site execution.
- Good knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, and finishing works.
- Experience in execution of high-rise structural works including columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and core structures.
- Strong understanding of concrete technology, material testing, and quality control.
- Knowledge of concrete cube testing, mix design, aggregates, reinforcement steel, and structural steel.
- Good knowledge of relevant IS Codes and construction standards.
- Ability to read and interpret civil and structural drawings.
- Strong site coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, QA/QC teams, and project management teams.
