Job Title: Remote Freight Broker / Load Booking Specialist

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Remote Load Booking Specialist to join our growing logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and booking freight to ensure our trucks run efficiently across key lanes. This position is 100% remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your portfolio from anywhere while staying tightly connected with our operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing, negotiating, and booking profitable loads utilizing major load boards and direct shipper contacts.
Maximizing fleet utilization across active lanes and identifying high-yield spot market opportunities.
Maintaining precise tracking and tracing of all booked loads, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries.
Handling daily communication with shippers, receivers, and the internal dispatch team to proactively resolve transit delays or issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience in freight brokering, asset-based load booking, or logistics coordination. (Reference check need from previous company)
Customer Network: An established, solid book of business or strong existing customer/shipper relationships is highly preferred.
Communication: Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills with a proven track record of securing favorable rates.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with transportation management systems (TMS), load boards (DAT, Truckstop, Loadlink), and remote collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, email).
