Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guestrooms according to property standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing amenities.
- Clean and maintain public areas (lobby, corridors, dining areas, back-of-house) to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Perform laundry tasks as required, including sorting and returning linens.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning and report maintenance issues or damages promptly.
- Respond politely to guest requests for extra amenities, towels, or basic assistance; escalate guest concerns to front office or management.
- Assist with turndown service and special room preparations for VIPs or special occasions.
- Maintain accurate records of room status, lost & found items, and cleaning supplies usage.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and infection-control procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Participate in periodic deep-cleaning projects and seasonal maintenance tasks.
- Support team by covering shifts and assisting colleagues during busy periods or events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior housekeeping experience in hotels, resorts, or similar environments preferred.
- Good understanding of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and safe handling practices.
- Basic communication skills in English and Hindi; Marathi or Gujarati is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, lift (moderate weight), and perform repetitive tasks during shifts.
- Honest, discreet, and respectful of guest privacy and property.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Willingness to learn and follow property standards and procedures.
Pay: From ₹12,000.00 per month
