Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Project Coordinator – MEP Works to support ongoing MEP projects and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, site teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination and follow-up skills, good communication abilities, and a basic understanding of MEP and construction project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of ongoing MEP projects.
- Follow up with site teams to monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of planned activities.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, PMC teams, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Track project activities, pending issues, material requirements, drawings, approvals, inspections, and clearances.
- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports, Weekly Progress Reports, MOMs, trackers, and project documentation.
- Monitor material requirements, procurement status, deliveries, and material availability at project sites.
- Assist in preparing work schedules, activity plans, manpower reports, and project progress updates.
- Maintain records of BOQs, quantities, work progress, and variations.
- Follow up on pending activities and ensure timely closure of issues.
- Attend project meetings and prepare minutes of meetings and action-point trackers.
- Ensure proper communication and information flow between the office and project sites.
- Escalate critical delays, constraints, and project issues to management in a timely manner.
- Support project billing and measurement documentation as required.
- Travel to project sites as required for coordination and monitoring.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with Civil Engineering or MBA qualifications and relevant MEP experience may also be considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in MEP, Fire Fighting, Fire Protection, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction project coordination is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills, strong learning ability, and a positive attitude may also be considered.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of MEP works and construction project execution.
- Ability to read and understand basic MEP / Fire Fighting drawings.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Project / Primavera will be an added advantage.
- Ability to prepare project trackers, reports, and professional email correspondence.
