Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. The role involves ensuring optimal performance, reliability, safety, and efficiency of machinery and mechanical processes while supporting production and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
- Supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve operational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance planning.
- Evaluate new technologies and equipment for process improvement.
- Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized university.
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, maintenance, projects, or engineering operations.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or other engineering software.
- Understanding of engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality systems.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
