Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and action-oriented Purchase & Planning Manager to manage electronic component procurement, SMT production planning, and inventory control. The role involves vendor management, import/export pricing, and ensuring timely material availability for seamless production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement & Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with domestic & international suppliers for best pricing and terms.
- SMT Production Planning: Align procurement with production schedules, ensuring BOM component availability.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor warehouse & vendor stock, optimizing inventory to prevent shortages/excess.
- Import & Export Pricing: Manage landed cost calculations, customs duties, logistics, and compliance.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain procurement records, track costs, and generate reports for decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
- Experience in import/export pricing, customs regulations, and global supplier management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred: SMT production experience, exposure to international suppliers (China, Taiwan, Europe), and knowledge of electronic component standards.
