- Install, assemble, and maintain solar PV module mounting structures and mechanical equipment.
- Carry out installation of module support structures, rails, brackets, clamps, and fasteners as per approved drawings.
- Perform alignment, leveling, tightening, and torqueing of mounting structures.
- Inspect structures and components for damage, corrosion, deformation, or improper installation.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, drilling machines, and other site equipment.
- Assist in mechanical erection and installation of equipment such as transformers, inverters, pumps, HVAC systems, and other auxiliary equipment where applicable.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Carry out lubrication, tightening, adjustment, replacement, and repair of mechanical components.
- Support installation and maintenance of tracker systems in solar projects, including motors, gearboxes, drive assemblies, and mechanical linkages, where applicable.
- Check and maintain proper tracker alignment, movement, and mechanical operation.
- Conduct routine inspections and report equipment abnormalities or defects to the supervisor/engineer.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, layouts, installation procedures, and equipment manuals.
- Assist during pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing, and handover of mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to ensure smooth execution of site activities.
- Ensure all work is carried out according to project specifications, quality standards, and approved method statements.
- Follow site HSE procedures, PPE requirements, work permits, lifting procedures, and safe working practices.
- Assist with material handling, equipment shifting, and lifting activities using approved tools and lifting equipment.
- Maintain proper records of inspection, maintenance, installation, and repair activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored after work.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment failures, and maintenance requirements to the responsible supervisor.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
