We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in software testing. The candidate should have strong knowledge of manual testing, test case preparation, defect tracking, and basic automation testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality and reliable software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Collaborate with developers to understand issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Conduct regression testing before production releases.
- Maintain test documentation, test reports, and QA-related records.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing for web applications.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and product quality.
- Basic experience with automation testing and willingness to work with automation frameworks.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
- Experience in Test Case Design, Test Execution & Defect Management.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Knowledge of API Testing using Postman.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Good understanding of SQL/database testing.
- Basic knowledge of Automation Testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience testing REST APIs.
- Knowledge of performance or security testing is an advantage.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
