Position Summary
PKHIL is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Officer to drive sales growth and market penetration within the assigned territory. The role involves achieving sales targets, managing key accounts, expanding the customer base, and strengthening the company’s presence in the FMCG/OTC segment. The ideal candidate will possess strong market knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to deliver consistent sales results.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned sales targets and objectives within the designated territory.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, stockists, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure optimal product visibility, availability, and merchandising at retail outlets.
- Execute sales strategies, promotional schemes, and in-store activities to enhance product awareness and market share.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for retailers and sales staff to improve product knowledge and conversion.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams for new product launches and feedback-driven improvements.
- Address customer complaints and service issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the FMCG / OTC / Pharma / Healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build long-term relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
- Self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
