Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Software Testing Freshers to join our Quality Assurance team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in software testing, good analytical skills, and a willingness to learn and work with different testing tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand software requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Re-test defects after fixes and ensure issues are resolved.
- Work closely with developers and QA team members to understand and resolve application issues.
- Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings.
- Learn and apply software testing best practices and processes.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing / QA concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of test cases, test scenarios, defect life cycle, and bug reporting.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Postman, Selenium, or other testing tools is an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong willingness to learn new technologies.
Educational Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
