IB Principal
DRS International School, Shamshabad, Hyderabad is looking for an experienced and dynamic IB Principal to lead the school’s academic and operational functions and drive excellence in teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and strategic leadership to the school.
- Lead the effective implementation of the IB curriculum and programmes.
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, assessment, and student achievement.
- Mentor and develop teachers and academic leaders.
- Build a strong culture of inquiry-based and student-centred learning.
- Manage curriculum planning, academic quality, and school improvement initiatives.
- Support IB authorization/evaluation processes and maintain IB standards.
- Build strong relationships with parents, students, teachers, and stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements
- Master’s Degree with B.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
- 5+ years of experience in school leadership, preferably as a Principal/Vice Principal.
- Proven Principal-level experience in an IB school.
- Strong knowledge of IB curriculum and international school practices.
- IB authorization/evaluation experience will be an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and team-management skills.
