Qualification

- Valid GNC Registration (Mandatory)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Job Summary
The OT Staff Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The role involves preparing the operation theatre, assisting surgeons and anesthetists, maintaining sterile techniques, ensuring patient safety, and handling OT equipment efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the Operation Theatre before surgeries.
- Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and consumables are available and sterile.
- Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and OT technicians during surgical procedures.
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection control practices.
- Prepare patients for surgery and verify patient identity, consent, and operative site.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
- Perform instrument, sponge, and needle counts before and after procedures.
- Handle and maintain OT equipment, including cautery machines, suction machines, monitors, and anesthesia equipment.
- Document all nursing care and surgical records accurately.
- Coordinate with CSSD for sterilization and availability of surgical instruments.
- Assist in emergency surgeries whenever required.
- Ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste as per hospital guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and NABH protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Attend departmental meetings, training programs, and continuous nursing education sessions.

- Basic computer knowledge for documentation

Salary
- As per hospital norms and experience.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
