- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical quality control activities in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Battery/BESS, UPS, Inverter, Power Electronics, or EV Battery Pack manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Experience in Electrical Quality Control/Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of battery systems, BMS architecture, and power electronics.
- Familiarity with IEC electrical safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good problem-solving ability.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, NCR/CAPA documentation, and inspection tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for supplier and cross-functional coordination.
- Conduct incoming inspection of electrical components such as cells, BMS, PCS, cables, contactors, sensors, and PCBs.
- Perform in-process electrical QC checks as per control plans and final electrical testing of BESS units as per ATP.
- Use electrical test equipment such as multimeters, LCR meters, oscilloscopes, insulation resistance testers, and hipot testers.
- Identify and document non-conforming components/assemblies and support NCR/CAPA closure.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure proper use of electrical testing equipment.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical quality issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers and SQD teams for component quality issues.
- Support FAT activities with customers and third-party inspectors.
- Read and understand electrical schematics and AutoCAD drawings for inspection and testing.
- Maintain inspection checklists and quality records.
