Job Summary
The Patient Counselor serves as the primary point of contact for patients seeking fertility treatment. The role involves guiding patients through the IVF journey, providing emotional support, explaining treatment options, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel patients and couples regarding fertility treatments and IVF procedures.
- Explain treatment plans, investigations, medications, costs, and timelines.
- Coordinate appointments with fertility specialists, embryologists, and nursing staff.
- Maintain regular follow-up with patients throughout their treatment cycle.
- Address patient concerns and provide emotional support during treatment.
- Assist patients with consent forms and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update the hospital management system.
- Coordinate with billing and insurance departments, where applicable.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Handle inquiries from walk-in patients, phone calls, and online leads.
- Work closely with the marketing and front office teams to improve patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or any graduate degree.
- Additional certification in counseling or healthcare management is an advantage.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in patient counseling, healthcare, IVF, obstetrics & gynecology, or hospital administration.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also be considered.
Skills Required

- Knowledge of IVF and fertility treatments (preferred).
- Computer proficiency (MS Office and Hospital Management Software).

Working Hours

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
