Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to manage the complete HR operations of our manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for manpower planning, recruitment, attendance, payroll coordination, employee relations, statutory compliance, performance management, and overall HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Plan and manage manpower requirements based on production needs.
- Handle recruitment for staff, operators, technicians, and workers.
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies and labour contractors.
- Conduct interviews and coordinate the selection and onboarding process.
- Maintain proper employee and recruitment records.
2. Attendance & Payroll
- Monitor daily attendance, shift schedules, leave, and overtime.
- Ensure accurate attendance inputs for monthly payroll.
- Coordinate salary processing and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Monitor absenteeism and employee turnover.
3. Employee Relations
- Handle employee grievances and workplace issues professionally.
- Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct counselling and disciplinary procedures when required.
- Maintain positive employee-management relations.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Bonus, Gratuity, Labour Laws and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers and employee documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants and government authorities when required.
5. HR Policies & Procedures
- Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees follow company rules and regulations.
- Prepare HR notices, circulars, warning letters, and other HR communications.
6. Training & Development
- Identify employee training requirements.
- Coordinate induction and orientation programs for new employees.
- Support skill development and employee performance improvement.
7. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance reviews and appraisals.
- Track employee performance and attendance.
- Work with department heads to improve employee productivity.
8. Labour & Contractor Management
- Manage contract labour and manpower contractors.
- Verify contractor attendance, manpower deployment, and documentation.
- Coordinate labour accommodation, canteen, transportation, and other employee welfare activities.
9. HR Administration
- Maintain employee personal files and HR records.
- Manage HRMIS/HRMS and other HR systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports.
- Maintain manpower, attendance, attrition, recruitment, and payroll reports.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and labour laws.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS/HRIMS.
- Ability to handle employees and contract labour effectively.
- Good decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Any Degree with relevant HR experience may also be considered.
Experience
6 –10 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
Salary
As per experience and industry standards.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
