Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Continental Chef to prepare high-quality continental cuisine and manage kitchen operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of continental dishes, food presentation, hygiene standards, and kitchen coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook continental dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Develop and suggest new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently maintained.
- Monitor kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Manage food inventory and minimize wastage.
- Supervise kitchen helpers and coordinate with service staff.
- Maintain proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during service hours
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or café.
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, sauces, grilling, pasta, salads, and plating.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary diploma or professional training preferred.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Experience
- Minimum: 2–5 years of experience as a Continental Chef.
