Core Purpose of the Role
To ensure that the right products are produced in the right quantity at the right time, by coordinating between warehouse, production machines, assembly lines, and management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning
- Review sales orders, pending orders and current inventory.
- Prepare daily/weekly production plans.
- Decide what products need to be manufactured and in what quantities.
- Coordinate with machine operators regarding machine-wise production requirements.
- Ensure production priorities are communicated clearly.
2. Assembly Line Coordination
- Prepare the requirement of components/materials for the assembly line.
- Coordinate with the warehouse to issue required materials.
- Ensure the assembly line has sufficient material to avoid production stoppages.
- Track production against the planned quantity.
- Escalate shortages, machine issues or delays immediately.
3. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Take regular stock reports from warehouses.
- Maintain visibility of RM, components, WIP and finished goods.
- Compare physical stock with system/recorded stock.
- Identify slow-moving, excess or shortage inventory.
- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouse and production wherever required.
4. Production Monitoring
- Track planned vs. actual production.
- Monitor machine-wise and assembly-line-wise output.
- Record wastage, rejection and production shortages.
- Follow up with production teams to ensure daily targets are achieved.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
