Job Summary
Step Up School is looking for a creative and passionate Photographer & Videographer to capture the vibrant life of our school through high-quality photos and videos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for documenting school events, classroom activities, celebrations, achievements, and promotional content while maintaining the school's visual identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos of school events, classroom activities, sports, cultural programs, and special occasions.
- Plan, shoot, and edit promotional videos, reels, and social media content.
- Edit and enhance photographs and videos using professional editing software.
- Maintain an organized digital library of photos and videos.
- Coordinate with school management and different departments for scheduled shoots.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited content for the website, social media, and marketing materials.
- Operate and maintain cameras, lighting, audio, and other photography equipment.
- Assist in creating creative visual content for admissions, branding, and promotional campaigns.
- Cover interviews, testimonials, and important school announcements whenever required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and photography equipment.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, or equivalent editing software.
- Strong understanding of lighting, framing, composition, and storytelling.
- Creativity with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification
- Graduate/Diploma in Photography, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in photography and videography.
- Experience in educational institutions will be an added advantage.
- Portfolio of previous work is preferred.
