The EHS Officer/Manager is responsible for ensuring workplace safety, environmental compliance, and health regulations in labs.. They develop and implement safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to government regulations and company policies. Good knowledge about chemistry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Safety and Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.

2. Risk Management and Training
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for various workplace activities.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and proactive hazard prevention.
- Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards.
3. Environmental Protection
- Monitor and manage environmental risks, including waste disposal, pollution control, and sustainability programs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Develop emergency response plans for environmental incidents.
4. Health and Well-being
- Oversee occupational health programs, including ergonomics and workplace wellness.
- Monitor employees' exposure to hazardous substances and implement control measures.
- Collaborate with HR and medical professionals on employee health initiatives.
5. Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, audits, and compliance reports.
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Keep up to date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
