Provide front-line leadership for the Data Center Thermal & Cooling Engineering team, driving NTI, advanced engineering, and next-generation product innovation for AI-driven Data Centers. Partner with global engineering, product strategy, sales, and business leaders to define technology roadmaps and deliver solutions including liquid cooling, direct-to-chip cooling, immersion cooling, CDU systems, liquid-cooled DC-DC converters, and advanced thermal management technologies. Lead the development of future-ready cooling, power conversion, and energy infrastructure solutions spanning BBUs, high-density PSUs, advanced controls, SiC/GaN technologies, and emerging VDC and MVDC architectures, while building a high-performing team and fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive innovation, growth, and technology leadership.
1) Front-Line Leadership & Technical Direction
Lead and inspire a high-performing team of 8-10 Mechanical, Thermal, and Power Electronics engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Provide technical leadership, coaching, and strategic direction while championing Digital Engineering, Model-Based Design, DFSS, and Eaton's Technology Development Processes.
2). Technology Strategy, Market Intelligence & Commercialization
Drive technology strategy by assessing Data Center market trends, customer needs, competitive landscapes, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies, translating insights into product roadmaps and innovation initiatives.
Develop strong business cases, technology proposals, and commercialization strategies in collaboration with product strategy, business leaders, customers, and external partners.
3). Program Execution & Delivery Excellence
Lead advanced engineering and NTI programs from concept through commercialization, ensuring execution excellence, risk management, and achievement of key business milestones.
Collaborate across global engineering, operations, sales, supply chain, and program management teams to deliver innovative solutions while driving customer intimacy, speed of execution, and value engineering.
4). Workforce Planning, Resource Management & Budget Ownership
Own engineering workforce planning, resource allocation, and organizational capability development to ensure alignment with strategic business priorities.
Manage engineering budgets, technology investments, laboratory infrastructure, capital expenditures, and engineering tools to enable efficient program execution.
5). Talent Development & Organizational Capability Building
Develop and execute talent strategies for hiring, engagement, succession planning, retention, and capability development aligned with Data Center growth objectives.
