Job Brief
The Marketing Head will lead brand building and market expansion. The role focuses on improving brand visibility, digital growth, and trade engagement.
The person will manage product launches, website updates, digital campaigns, trade events, loyalty programs, and marketing budgets. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and works closely with sales, product, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy and Communication
- Develop and execute brand communication plans.
- Work with agencies to create strong marketing campaigns.
- Study market trends and competitor activity.
- Monitor brand health and take corrective action when needed.
Maintain updated competition reports
- Product Launch and Creative Management.
- Plan and execute product launch calendars.
- Develop marketing materials for new categories.
- Ensure timely updates of the website, catalogues, and price lists.
- Manage creatives for dealers, exhibitions, and trade events.
- Oversee display materials and retail branding.
Digital and Online Growth
- Improve website performance and lead generation.
- Manage digital advertising and online campaigns.
- Handle WhatsApp marketing and API integration.
Manage e-commerce assets
- Ensure brand consistency across all online platforms.
- Coordinate with the BD team to track and close digital leads.
Trade Marketing and Partner Engagement
- Plan and execute dealer meets and carpenter meets.
- Organise exhibitions and regional marketing events.
- Design trade promotions with sales and product teams.
- Manage gifting programs for dealers and partners.
Marketing Budget Management
- Prepare annual marketing budgets.
- Track spending and ensure efficient use of funds.
- Allocate budgets for digital ads, events, branding, and displays.
- Monitor return on marketing investments.
Loyalty Program Management
- Manage loyalty program for carpenters, fabricators, and contractors.
- Oversee app-based loyalty platform operations.
- Plan engagement campaigns to increase participation.
- Improve brand reach at retail outlets.
Team Leadership
- Lead designers and the trade marketing team.
- Set team KPIs and monitor performance.
- Motivate and guide team members.
- Ensure timely execution of the marketing calendar.
Qualifications and Experience
- BBA or MBA in Marketing or Business.
- 12 to 15+ years of marketing experience.
- Experience in brand management and trade marketing.
- Strong exposure to digital marketing tools.
- Experience in event planning and dealer engagement.
