Job Purpose
To perform polishing, finishing, cleaning, and maintenance of molds, dies, cores, cavities, and tooling components to ensure smooth production and high-quality surface finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Polish molds, dies, inserts, cores, and cavities as per standards.
- Remove scratches, rust marks, burrs, and surface defects.
- Perform mirror polishing where required.
- Assist in mold maintenance and repair activities.
- Clean and prepare molds before production runs.
- Use polishing tools, buffing machines, emery papers, and diamond paste safely.
- Inspect tooling surfaces for wear and damage.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the tool room.
Qualification
- Diploma/ITI (Fitter/Machinist/Tool & Die Maker) preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in mold polishing or tool room operations.
Skills
- Mold polishing and finishing.
- Knowledge of polishing compounds and abrasives.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work with hand tools and precision components.

- Surface finish quality.
- Mold readiness for production.
- Reduction in polishing defects.
- Timely completion of assigned work.
- Tool room housekeeping compliance.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
