About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager Content Writer who can take ownership of content strategy, create high-quality SEO-driven content, and manage content initiatives across multiple client projects.
The ideal candidate should have strong content writing skills, a deep understanding of SEO, experience working in a digital marketing agency, and the ability to guide junior writers while ensuring content quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO-driven content strategies aligned with client objectives and business goals.
- Take ownership of content planning, creation, optimization, and delivery across multiple client projects.
- Write and optimize high-quality content for websites, blogs, landing pages, service pages, case studies, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research, analyze search intent, and implement SEO best practices to improve content performance.
- Manage, mentor, and review content created by junior writers to maintain quality, consistency, and brand voice.
- Create and manage content calendars while ensuring timely project execution.
- Collaborate with SEO, Design, and Development teams to implement effective content strategies.
- Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools to identify improvement opportunities.
- Leverage AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and similar platforms for content research, ideation, optimization, and workflow efficiency.
- Stay updated with SEO trends, AI advancements, and Google's algorithm updates.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Content Writing, preferably in a Digital Marketing or SEO agency.
- Strong understanding of SEO content strategy, keyword research, search intent, and content optimization.
- Proven experience creating and managing SEO-driven content across multiple formats.
- Excellent written English, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
- Experience mentoring junior writers and managing content workflows.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress, Grammarly, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar AI/SEO tools is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
