Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage the electrical maintenance of injection-moulding machines, utilities and other plant equipment. The engineer will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting and ensuring maximum machine availability with minimum downtime.
Experience with Husky injection-moulding machines is preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown electrical maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in injection-moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain plant utilities, including:
- Air compressors
- Chillers and cooling towers
- Dryers and dehumidifiers
- DG sets
- Transformers and HT/LT panels
- Pumps, motors and electrical distribution systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, relays, contactors and control panels.
- Monitor machine conditions and take corrective action to reduce downtime.
- Carry out root-cause analysis for repeated machine breakdowns.
- Prepare and maintain preventive-maintenance schedules, checklists and breakdown records.
- Maintain critical electrical spare-parts inventory.
- Coordinate with machine manufacturers and external service engineers when required.
- Support installation, commissioning and modification of machines and utility equipment.
- Monitor electricity consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, LOTO requirements and statutory standards.
- Provide shift-wise maintenance reports and communicate pending issues during shift handovers.
- Support production teams in achieving machine uptime and production targets.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in electrical panels and maintenance areas.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Diploma,BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Valid electrical competency or supervisor licence will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing plant.
- Experience in plastic, PET preform, injection-moulding or packaging industries is preferred.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Salary
₹3,60,000–₹4,00,000 per annum CTC, depending on experience, technical knowledge and interview performance.
Approximate monthly CTC: ₹30,000–₹33,333.
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
