About the Institution
Mahalaxmi Homoeopathic Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Raigaon, Satara is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and academically accomplished professional to lead the institution as Principal.
The Principal will be responsible for providing strong academic leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high standards of teaching and clinical education, and overseeing the overall academic and administrative functioning of the college and hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic academic and administrative leadership to the College and Hospital.
- Ensure effective implementation of academic programs and institutional policies.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and norms of National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH), Ministry of AYUSH, and other statutory/regulatory authorities.
- Oversee teaching, learning, examinations, clinical training, research, and student development.
- Supervise and guide teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Ensure effective functioning of academic departments and the attached hospital.
- Promote research, publications, academic collaborations, seminars, conferences, and professional development.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, academic integrity, and institutional governance.
- Monitor faculty performance, student attendance, academic progress, and clinical training.
- Coordinate inspections, accreditation, affiliation, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain a positive academic environment for students and faculty.
- Represent the institution before universities, regulatory authorities, professional bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with the management to achieve institutional growth and long-term academic objectives.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Educational qualification and experience as prescribed by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) and applicable statutory/regulatory norms.
- Candidates should possess the required recognized qualification in Homoeopathy from a recognized institution.
- Appropriate academic and teaching/administrative experience as applicable to the post.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory, academic, examination, and institutional administration requirements.
- Candidates with prior experience as Principal, Vice-Principal, Dean, HOD, or in senior academic administration will be preferred.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
