Summary:
As a Performance & Reliability Engineer, you will support the technology systems' performance and reliability to meet service level targets. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure optimal system performance, deploying continuous performance and capacity models, and utilizing monitoring tools to assess system availability. You will engage in discussions with Technology and Enterprise Architects to select and design appropriate run-time and DevOps technologies, ensuring that the systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor system performance metrics and proactively address any issues that may arise.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Incident Management, Automation in Systems Integration, Grafana.
- Strong understanding of performance monitoring tools and techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
