Weaver is looking for talented Tax professionals at the Senior Associate level to join our Fixed Asset Advisory practice! This is a growing practice with room for growth and career development. The successful candidate will help our clients with:
- Cost segregation
- Tangible Property (Repair) Regulations
- Fixed asset reviews
- 179D and 45L green construction deductions and credits
- R&D credit studies

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare cost segregation, fixed assets reviews and tax valuation for new and acquired buildings, industrial projects, renovations, and expansions.
- Assist in developing benefit estimates, interacting with clients and scheduling associated project deliverables.
- Prepare R&D and Rehab tax credit studies.
- Assist team in preparing presentations for proposals, drafting SOWs, planning strategies, and ideas.
- Respond to client requests and correspond with clients to meet engagement goals and deliverables.
- Demonstrate ability to understand the IRs code, regulations, and pronouncements for various tax issues; training provided.
- Prepare schedules and deliverables for management review.
Education and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or construction technology
- 2-5 years of public accounting experience, industry experience, or a combination of both
- 1 year of experience in cost segregation
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Excel and Bluebeam or a similar software
- Experience estimating with RS Means and CoreLogic MVS
- Experience with Sage, Bloomberg/BNA Tax or CCH is a plus
