Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer – Mechanical to manage and supervise mechanical MEP works at project sites. The candidate should have strong experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Utility Piping and Mechanical Services, along with good knowledge of drawings and site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day mechanical site activities.
- Execute HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and mechanical services as per approved drawings.
- Read and understand MEP drawings, specifications and shop drawings.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants and other site teams.
- Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Check the quality of materials and installation work.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Coordinate with the planning and project team for project schedules.
- Check quantities and assist in material planning and requirements.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.
- Resolve site-related technical issues and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and as per company/project requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical MEP site execution.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Utility Piping.
- Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and MEP layouts.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of site measurements, material requirements and work progress.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting.
Preferred Experience
Experience in industrial, commercial, infrastructure, manufacturing, data centre or large-scale MEP projects will be preferred.
