Role Summary
We're looking for an Engagement Manager to own the end-to-end success of platform engagements for clients in the media, broadcast, and OTT/streaming space. This is a domain-heavy role: the ideal candidate has lived inside the media/OTT business and understands its commercial and operational realities, paired with hands-on Salesforce delivery exposure to lead CRM and customer-platform programs with credibility.
The weighting we're optimizing for: ~70% media/OTT domain depth, ~20% Salesforce delivery, ~10% engagement and stakeholder management.
What You'll Own
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for one or more media/OTT client engagements — scope, timelines, commercials, and outcomes.
- Translate OTT business goals (subscriber growth, churn reduction, monetization, content-to-audience workflows) into platform and CRM solutions.
- Lead Salesforce-centric delivery: requirements through deployment, coordinating architects, developers, and QA.
- Manage project economics — staffing, margin, change requests, and risk.
- Build trusted-advisor relationships with client stakeholders from product and marketing through to C-level.
- Run governance: status cadences, steering reviews, escalation handling, and delivery reporting.
Domain Expertise — Media & OTT (Primary, ~70%)
- Demonstrable background working within or for a media, broadcast, or OTT/streaming company.
- Strong grasp of OTT business models: SVOD/AVOD/TVOD, subscription lifecycle, content monetization, and audience/engagement metrics.
- Familiarity with the OTT technology landscape — content delivery, subscriber management, billing, and customer data platforms.
- Understanding of how marketing, content, and customer-experience functions operate in a streaming/media organization.
Salesforce Experience (Secondary, ~20%)
- Hands-on delivery experience across Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Media Cloud/Industries preferred).
- Comfortable owning Salesforce implementations or major enhancements as a delivery lead.
- Ability to converse credibly with Salesforce architects and developers on solution design and trade-offs.
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Consultant-track, or Industries) are an advantage.
Engagement & Stakeholder Management (~10%)
- Proven project/engagement management track record on technology programs.
- Strong commercial acumen — managing budgets, margins, and change.
- Excellent client-facing communication and the ability to lead difficult conversations.
- Familiarity with Agile/hybrid delivery models.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology delivery or consulting, with significant time in media/OTT.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Media-related); MBA a plus.
Experience working in a system integrator or consulting environment is desirable.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
