We are seeking a dynamic and results‑oriented Business Development Associate to drive growth in our Import–Export operations. The ideal candidate will identify and capitalize on new international opportunities, foster strong partnerships with suppliers and buyers, and ensure seamless coordination across global trade processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and develop new international markets to strengthen import–export opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Drive business growth through cold calling, email campaigns, trade portals, exhibitions, and networking initiatives.
- Relationship Management: Build and sustain long‑term partnerships with overseas clients, vendors, and freight forwarders.
- Sales & Negotiation: Understand client requirements, prepare competitive quotations, negotiate pricing, and successfully close deals.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams for documentation, shipment planning, LC/Invoice preparation, and logistics follow‑ups.
- Shipment Oversight: Track consignments, ensure timely delivery, resolve issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analytics: Maintain sales databases, monitor pipeline status, and prepare insightful business development reports.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on global trade trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements to support strategic decision‑making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred: International Business, Marketing, or Commerce).
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Development or Import–Export (fresh graduates with exceptional communication skills are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of export documentation (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, LC, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proactive follow‑up skills with the ability to work independently and deliver results.
