Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design Leadership
- Lead conceptual & schematic design aligned with client vision and site context
- Oversee detailed design development ensuring creativity and feasibility
- Integrate sustainable and innovative design strategies
- Review and approve drawings, models & specifications
- Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, building codes, accessibility & fire safety norms
Project Coordination & Oversight
- Coordinate across structural, MEP, landscape & multidisciplinary teams
- Lead design reviews and milestone meetings
- Align design intent with construction execution
Client Engagement
- Act as primary design point-of-contact
- Translate client briefs into executable architectural strategies
- Deliver impactful presentations and design narratives
Site Supervision & Construction Support
- Conduct periodic site visits
- Address on-site challenges with timely design solutions
- Collaborate with contractors to resolve technical conflicts
Quality & Risk Management
- Implement structured design review systems
- Ensure accuracy, completeness & consistency in documentation
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Lead and mentor junior architects & interns
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
- Support internal capability building and knowledge sharing
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino & BIM workflows
- Strong understanding of construction systems & materials
- Deep knowledge of local building codes
- Proven experience delivering large-scale projects from conception to completion
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Strong communication, leadership & negotiation skills
- Capability to manage budgets and timelines effectively
- Eagerness to contribute to township and large-format developments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture
- 10+ years of experience in an architectural design firm (including leadership role)
- Strong portfolio of completed and executed projects
