Sales Executive (Indiamart North India Sales)

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and target-orientated sales executive to handle Indiamart sales coordination, bidding activities, and independent lead generation across North India. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, handling outbound calling, managing portal activities, and supporting overall business growth in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle sales and business development activities across North India.
- Generate leads through cold calling, internet research, LinkedIn, and market outreach.
- Manage portal activities, including bid participation, tender search, documentation, and submission.
- Coordinate with customers regarding product requirements, quotations, and follow-ups.
- Support Indiamart -related sales coordination and operational activities.
- Identify new customers and business opportunities in government and private sectors.
- Maintain daily sales activity reports and lead tracking records.
- Follow up with prospective clients and schedule meetings for the sales team.
- Coordinate internally with procurement, operations, and technical teams for smooth order execution.
- Achieve assigned business targets and sales goals.
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of portal and tender participation processes.
- Confidence in cold-calling and lead generation activities.
- Strong follow-up and coordination abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Target-driven mindset with willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience in bidding and government sales.
- Knowledge of Indiamart operations or e-commerce coordination.
- Experience in IT, surveillance, AI, IoT, or industrial product sales.
- LinkedIn outreach and lead generation experience.
- CRM or sales reporting tool knowledge.
Qualification
- BBA
- BCom
- MBA
- Any Graduate with good communication skills
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in sales, lead generation, bidding, or business development.
- Experience in government tendering or inside sales will be an added advantage.
Daily Performance Expectations
- 40–50 outbound calls.
- 15–20 new lead identifications.
- Regular bid participation and follow-ups.
- 10–15 customer follow-ups daily.
- Schedule meetings and generate business opportunities for the sales team.
