At Hindustan Fastners, the Plant Head is responsible for leading and managing the overall manufacturing operations of the plant while ensuring smooth coordination between production, quality, maintenance, dispatch, stores, and manpower functions. The role includes achieving daily and monthly production targets, maintaining product quality standards, minimizing rejection and machine downtime, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring optimum utilization of machines, materials, and workforce. The Plant Head is also responsible for implementing safety procedures, monitoring preventive maintenance activities, handling audits and customer compliance requirements, controlling production costs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Additional responsibilities include supervising departmental heads and shop floor teams, planning manpower allocation, ensuring timely dispatches, maintaining discipline and productivity, coordinating with procurement and management teams, and supporting business growth through process optimization and efficient plant performance. In most manufacturing businesses, the title sounds powerful, but the reality is usually relentless firefighting — vendor delays, machine breakdowns, absenteeism, customer pressure, and unrealistic targets passed down from management. The role exists to absorb operational chaos before it reaches the owners or customers.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
