Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser with a strong background in the Jewellery Industry. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical skills, inventory management experience, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and optimize product performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Review product performance, customer preferences, and sales data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Production, and other teams to align merchandising strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Utilize analytics and reporting tools to make data-driven merchandising decisions.
- Develop strategies to improve revenue, conversion rates, and profitability.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution of merchandising activities.
- Prepare reports and provide actionable business insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline.
- 4–6 years of merchandising experience in the Gems & Jewellery Industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in inventory planning and stock management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting/analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Jewellery merchandising experience is mandatory.
